When you contact us (e.g. by e-mail, telephone or via a contact form), we process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, content of the request) to process your request, to make an offer and to initiate or process a contract. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures/performance of a contract) and/or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient communication).
Your data will be stored for as long as is necessary for processing and beyond that only within the scope of statutory retention obligations or as long as claims from the respective transaction can be asserted.
6. data processing in the context of business relationships (forwarding/logistics)
As part of the initiation and processing of business relationships, we process personal data that is necessary for the provision of services. Depending on the order, this may include in particular contact and communication data of contact persons, sender/recipient and delivery data as well as order-related information (e.g. shipment/transport data, customs/import/export-relevant information, if applicable).
The purpose is to prepare offers, perform and document our services and fulfill legal obligations. The legal bases are Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contract/contract initiation) and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR (legal obligation) and – if necessary – Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interests, e.g. efficient business processing, assertion/defense of claims).
7. recipients, service providers and processors
We only pass on personal data if this is necessary to fulfill the stated purposes, if there is a legal obligation or if you have given your consent. Recipients may be – depending on the case – in particular IT service providers (e.g. hosting, maintenance), communication service providers, as well as partners required in the context of order processing (e.g. transport companies, authorities/handling offices, insurance companies).
Insofar as we use service providers as processors, this is done on the basis of a contract in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
8. data transfer to third countries
Personal data will only be transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA if this is necessary for the provision of services or if you have given your consent, and only in compliance with the legal requirements (e.g. adequacy decision or suitable guarantees such as standard contractual clauses). Whether and to what extent third country transfers can take place in the context of website services is described in the cookie information.
9. storage period
We generally only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purposes. Beyond this, we only store data within the scope of statutory retention obligations or as long as this is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims.
10. your rights
Depending on the requirements, you have the following rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing. If the processing is based on your consent, you can revoke it at any time with effect for the future; the legality of the processing until the revocation remains unaffected.
